This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Aning ("Aning", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Aning mobile application (the "App"), which lets you generate images and videos using AI. By using the App you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we receive an account identifier and, where provided, your email address and display name. With Sign in with Apple you may choose to hide your email (we then receive a private relay address).
- Content you provide. Text prompts and any reference images you upload to generate results.
- Generated content. Images and videos produced by the App, plus related task metadata (status, parameters, timestamps).
- Purchase information. In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We receive a transaction receipt and entitlement status to credit your account. We never receive your full payment card details.
- Usage and device data. Basic technical data such as app version, device/OS type, language, and diagnostic logs used to operate and secure the service.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate generation features and deliver your results.
- To manage your account, credits, and membership status.
- To process payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To enforce our content rules and perform safety moderation.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Third Parties and Service Providers
To deliver the App we share the minimum necessary data with service providers, including:
- Authentication and payments: Apple and Google (sign-in and in-app purchases).
- Cloud storage and delivery: our cloud and object-storage providers store your uploads and generated media.
- AI model providers: your prompts and reference images are sent to third-party AI providers to generate results. Do not include information you do not want processed by these providers.
- Content moderation: automated services that help detect prohibited content.
These providers may process data in countries other than yours. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Retention
Generated media and task records are retained for a limited period and then expire and are deleted automatically. Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted (or anonymized) after account deletion, except where we must retain records to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.
5. Deleting Your Account
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from within the App, or by emailing support@aning.ai. Upon deletion we remove your account data and stored media, subject to the limited retention noted above.
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under the age required by your jurisdiction (for example, 13 in the U.S. or the relevant age in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@aning.ai.
9. International Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
